BELMONT, Maine β€” A Montville man is in jail after allegedly hitting another man in the head Wednesday afternoon with a small club, according to the Waldo County Sheriffs Office.Matthew McIntire, 37, was arrested after police investigated multiple calls to 911 at about 3:20 p.m. concerning an ongoing assault at a business on Route 3, according to a press release issued Thursday morning by Sheriff Jeff Trafton.
